Our Frenchies

All of our French Bulldogs are registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC), and DNA verified as 100% French Bulldog with Embark DNA.

As our breeding program has developed, we have been doing more and more health testing each generation. We are proud of our dedication to improving the health of the breed.

THE GIRLS

Gaule Poppy “Poppy”

  • DOB: 7/22/22
  • Origin: Gaule – Edna x Georgie
  • Color: Blue Fawn Merle Pied
  • Coat: Standard
  • Size: 26 lbs
  • Health Testing: OFA Normal Cardiac, Patellas, and Thyroid. OFA Fair Hips and Normal Elbows. DNA cleared by parentage for breed related diseases – for Hyperuricosuria and Hyperuricemia or Urolithiasis (HUU), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), and Canine Multifocal Retinopathy.
  • Status: Poppy had one litter with James Brown. It was a beautiful litter, but we tragically lost seven of the eight puppies to sepsis within the week they were born (a random and unpreventable situation). Her surviving pup (Junior) was awesome and found a great family. We repeated this breeding for Poppy’s second and final litter and fortunately the puppies are doing amazing.   • About Poppy: Poppy was bred at Gaule and we were instantly in love with her beauty… and her personality is just as wonderful. Poppy is a mellow, calm girl who gets along very well with every dog she meets.

Gaule Pippi Longstocking “Pippa”

  • Color: Red Fawn
  • Coat: Fluffy
  • Size: 22 lbs
  • Health Testing: OFA normal Cardiac and Patellas. DNA cleared by parentage for breed related diseases – for Hyperuricosuria and Hyperuricemia or Urolithiasis (HUU), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), and Canine Multifocal Retinopathy.
  • Status: Pippa was recently bred to Fae’s brother, Shitake. An ultrasound confirmed that she is pregnant. She is due September 5, 2026 (Labor Day Weekend). See our Planned Litters page to see Shitake.

Riverside Amanita at Gaule “Fae”

  • DOB: 5/13/25
  • Origin: Riverside Bulldogs (Washington)
  • Color: Merle Tricolor
  • Coat: Fluffy
  • Size: 26 lbs
  • Health Testing: Not performed yet
  • Status: Fae is just a puppy, so still needs her health testing and won’t be bred until age 2. We plan to breed her to Harold for her first litter.
  • About Fae: Fae is a goofy, sweet girl. She gets along with everyone and loves to snuggle.

James Brown at Gaule “Jamesy”

  • Background: Washington
  • Color: Chocolate at Tan
  • Coat: Fluffy
  • Size: 29 lbs
  • Health Testing: OFA Normal Cardiac and Patellas. OFA Good Hips and OFA Normal Elbows.
  • Status: Jamesy is only available to use in our breeding program and for highly selective local breeders. We do not make our boys available for public stud service.
  • About Jamesy: Jamesy was a puppy I met at his litter exam… and I just knew I loved him. Fast forward until he was 10 months old and his breeder/owner reached out to me and asked if we wanted him. We are so fortunate to have been entrusted with this lovely boy. Jamesy fits right in with the family. He is a happy go lucky boy who loves to swim. Jamesy has a personality like a Golden Retriver and is an instant friend to anyone he meets.

Harold at Gaule “Harold”

  • Color: Blue Fawn Covered in Cream (Fluffy)
  • Size: 28 lbs

  • Status: Harold is only available to use in our breeding program and for highly selective local breeders. We do not make our boys available for public stud service.
  • About Harold: Harold is an awesome addition to our breeding program and family. He is a handsome, stocky little man with the best temperament. He has a wash and wear coat, which is ideal since he likes to swim, play in the mud, and stand in our koi pond. Harold is calm, cool, and collected when it comes to his personality.
